Indian & Multicultural Weddings

I've photographed Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Tamil, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi and multicultural weddings, and after 17 years and more than 1,000 celebrations.
A Tamil wedding feels completely different to a Punjabi celebration. A Sikh Anand Karaj has its own beautiful rhythm. A Muslim Nikah carries a quiet significance that's incredibly special to witness. Also when two cultures come together, it's amazing to see families share traditions, creating something that's uniquely their own.
I don't see these as just different ceremonies. I understand the meaning behind them. I know when to step back, when to anticipate the important moments, and when a single glance between family members says more than words ever could.
That's what I love most about photographing Asian weddings. Every celebration is different, every family has its own story, and it's a privilege to preserve it with honesty, emotion and care.
